2012 marks the 99th edition of the Quebec International Bonspiel.

This men’s tournament is known for its hospitality and the camaraderie of the players.  Many social events are organized throughout the week of competition. There is a minimum of 6 games and a maximum of 9 games per participating team. The event champion teams win trophies, medals, commemorative badges or pins.

The event is held in historical Quebec City at the world famous Chateau Frontenac, with curling held in the cities three curling clubs

Every year the QIB welcomes teams from across Canada, the United States and Europe. The Bonspiel is held at the end of January, coinciding with the start of the famous Québec Winter Carnival.
