The Château Frontenac Hotel, situated in the heart of Old Québec City, is the nerve centre and headquarters for the Bonspiel’s social activities. Each year curlers are warmly and enthusiastically welcomed by the Chateau staff, who do the impossible to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of their visitors.
In March of 2012, the hotel embarked on a major renovation project which has renewed all guest rooms, the lobby and the hotel restaurants and bar. With a budget of $66 million and an expectation that ultimately, $75 million will be invested, the hotel has added a sense of the contemporary while respecting the rich history that permeates the hotel.
The Chateau sets aside rooms for curlers at a special, discounted rate. To take advantage of these special rates, rooms must be reserved through the Bonspiel organizing committee.
